Huisdans was great,
largely due to my wonderful date

but this morning leaves me with a feeling of emptiness
the loving couples surround you,
making their presence painfully obvious

and i realise i have none

makes me feel alone in a room of three hundred

Today...

unexpected
harsh

still numb

and i'm hoping for the pain to come
to just stop feeling so emotionally numb

went to a wine festival today.

it was great fun with about 40 wines to sample (most of which were actually good). the scenary in the area is awesome as well. was quite a trek to get there though, all the way to greyton which lies about 50km north of the N2 near hermanus.

most of the wine was from relatively unknown estates but quality is more important than name in any case.

plus having a steak dinner tonight. holidays are so awesome.

Power Failures are good...

,well not really...
But they do give you some time to do things you 'd rarely do otherwise

I used today's power failure to draw something

here it is.



We also went to mama roma's today for dinner (a pizza place in case the power failed again).
Heavenly food and a really nice place overall

and then later realised the memo itself was wrong

-log(1-p) = 1/ log( 1-p )
